The Producers, the newest musical from mastermind Mel Brooks, recently completed the Max Tour and is currently working on the Leo Tour. The cast will be traveling across the country to perform a musical that has quickly become one of the biggest shows of all-time. The show takes just under three hours to perform (including a 15 minute intermission) and stars Richard Kind (Spin City, Mad About You) as Max Bialystock alongside Roger Bart (Law and Order) who plays Leo Bloom. Other notable actors and actresses include Brooks Ashmanskas as Carmen Ghia, John Treacy Egan as Franz Liebkind, Angie Schworer as Ulla, and Jonathan Freeman as Roger DeBris. The Producers has been so successful, it has won more Tony Awards than any other show in history. These awards include: Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Book, Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, Best Scenic Design, Best Orchestrations, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Actor in a Musical, Best Featured Actor in a Musical, and Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
