Adding to the mystique of Zumanity are Creative Director Andrew Watson and Costume Designer Thierry Mugler, whose unbridled imagination allow Zumanity to flourish in the vivacious spirit of Cirque du Soleil. Putting the finishing touches on this thought-provoking presentation is set designer Stephan Roy, who cites family influences and childhood friendships as his source of inspiration for his set designs.

Joey, Mistress of Seduction leads the audience on an erotic journey through the experience of human emotion. She introduces a host of characters, each with a storyline that, while unique to the character, often proves relevant to the daily lives of the audience members. For example, Alex steps out of his tough-guy exterior, revealing to the audience his weakness for the female form. Another character, Elena, breaks out of her shell to reignite the passion in her relationship. The cast of Zumanity offers an impressive array of bodily expression, revealing their vulnerability through a variety of dance styles and mind-boggling contortions.
