Team Information
Marv is back, and Buffalo Bills tickets have become too hot to hold onto. Former Bills head coach Marv Levy returned to help turn around this legendary professional football franchise in the 2006 NFL season. The Bills may have fallen on hard times in recent years, but if anyone knows how to rectify the situation it’s Levy, who led the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls during his time on the sidelines at historic Ralph Wilson Stadium. His return has re-energized the Bills faithful, who will do anything possible to get their hands on Bills tickets. But Levy and first-year head coach Dick Jauron will have their hands full in trying to restore the prestige that Bills tickets have been lacking recently.
Players like quarterback J.P. Losman and running back Willis McGahee haven’t lived up the hype and need to start acting like first-round draft picks, if the Bills are going to get things headed in the right direction. Part of Losman’s and McGahee’s problem have been the fault of a porous offensive line that ranks among the worst in the NFL. Losman split time with Kelly Holcomb last season, but the Bills’ ticket back to the NFL Playoffs lies in Losman’s hands.
In his third professional season, Losman has shown signs of the type of brilliance that he displayed as a member of the Tulane Green Wave. He’s mobile and possesses a rocket arm. But he tends to make bad decisions, which are often forced by the tremendous pressure he’s receiving in the pocket. All too frequently, Losman would drop back and be forced to run for his life as defenses plowed through the Buffalo line and swarmed over the young signal caller.
McGahee has similar issues. A powerful runner with breakaway speed, the former Miami Hurricane rarely finds a crease to burst through. Shoot, at times, he’s been lucky to have enough time to turn up field before a defender is on his heels. Even so, McGahee managed to rack up more than 1,200 yards rushing in 2005. In his fourth season, McGahee will be looking to expand on those stats and hopefully for Bills ticket holders score more than his measly seven touchdowns he had last year.
The Bills are back with some old faces and some new ones. Longtime receiver Eric Moulds has moved on, but former Bills’ receiver Peerless Price returns to give Losman and Holcomb a deep threat. Levy knows exactly what it takes to build a winning franchise, and Jauron, who helped the Pittsburgh Steelers win the Super Bowl as the their defensive coordinator, brings a ton of NFL experience to the table. Ralph Wilson Stadium will be the place to be once again in 2006. The tide is turning in Buffalo, and the Bills are on the rise once again. Even the frigid winter temperatures of Buffalo can’t scare off the Bills ticket holders. They’ll be filing into Ralph Wilson in record numbers. So join the crowd. Get Buffalo Bills tickets today.
