Team Information
The Maryland Terrapin’s head coach, Gary Williams, is on the verge of quite a few impressive milestones as he heads into the 2005-06 season with his team. With 346 career wins at Maryland, Williams is only three victories shy of becoming the Terrapin’s all-time winningest basketball coach, as well as being just two wins short of passing Frank McGuire for third on the ACC career wins list. Already the 11th-winningest active coach in the entire NCAA Division I men’s basketball league, Williams has high hopes of being able to take the title at Maryland and go on to hold an even more impressive record with the ACC itself. Terrapin basketball tickets are being sold out as Maryland fans want to be on hand when Williams makes his mark in the ACC record books.
