Marlins home game tickets are available for Dolphins Stadium their home since they broke into the majors in 1993. In 1999, renovations had to be made to keep the stadium up to par with MLB regulations which included retractable seating on the north side of the stadium and new baseball dugouts.

| Team Information
Florida Marlins fans are asking "What’s going on with this franchise?". First the wise heads that run the club hire one of the bright coaches on the MLB scene to lead their team and then they send the majority of their stars elsewhere, leaving the rookie skipper high and dry. I know they received some young talent in return and we can talk about that, but Manager Joe Girardi must be scratching his head. Marlins regulars must be scratching theirs as well. Such is life for the have-nots in Major League Baseball.
To refer to the Marlins as have-nots is curious when you stop to remember the success they have enjoyed on the field in their short time on this earth. They won the World Series in 1997 overcoming the Cleveland Indians with a pitching staff featuring the likes of Kevin Brown and Al Lieter. Then in 2003, they overwhelmed the Yankees on the strength of timely hitting and the pitching of Josh Beckett and Dontrelle Willis. Looking at it from that angle, Marlins fans don’t have a lot to be unhappy about. Of course, from their perspective, those World Series trophies were won a long time ago. What have the Marlins done for them lately?
Perhaps a better question is what is Marlins management trying to do now. The team is built around two remaining stars; namely Willis and Miguel Cabrera. In the Carlos Delgado deal, they acquired a potential star in first baseman Mike Jacobs. He’ll show some power, which will be needed. Hanley Ramirez will get an opportunity to show his stuff at shortstop. Speaking of youngsters, the Marlins are very excited about young lefty Scott Olson, who was highly rated by Baseball America.
