Event Information
Tool’s long awaited fourth album has finally been released to the world, and now that they are touring to support that album, getting Tool seats will be one of the hottest things going on the music scene for a very long time. The new album, 10,000 Days, picks up where Lateralus left off, and fills a void that has been open during the five years since the previous release. After languishing in ballads and the so called progressive rock of the past few years, Tool has once again charged onto the musical scene with lyrics and music that ask us, and perhaps force us, to question all that is around us. The band has been described by many as metal, progressive rock, artsy, death metal, thrash, punk and even industrial, but the band continues to defy and transcend the labels pasted on them by making inspired tunes that strike a cord somewhere deeper inside the listener.
Listening to Tool on a CD or on the radio is one thing, but to feel the music flowing through you at one of their live shows is something that just can not be described to one who has not experienced it for him or her self. Now that they are traveling the world in support of this latest effort, you have the chance to experience this powerful band for yourself and to form your own opinions about them, something which has always been a cornerstone to the philosophy of the bands lead singer, Maynard James Keenan.
